Burnley can leapfrog Leicester with win on Saturday
2554

Two of the Premier League’s in-form sides go head-to-head on Saturday as Leicester City host Burnley at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes have won 4 of their last 6 league matches, while Burnley are unbeaten in 4 (W2/D2/L0).

Still, Leicester City will be looking to get back to winning ways following defeat against Liverpool before the international break.

Brendan Rodgers’ side must have thought they were coming away from Anfield with a point after James Maddison scored an equalizing goal on 80 minutes.

However, Leicester conceded a controversial late penalty which James Milner calmly dispatched to hand the Reds all three points.

On the other hand, Burnley come into this match on the back of a win over struggling Everton. Jeff Hendrick scored the only goal of the game to move the Clarets into 7th – 2 points behind fourth-place Leicester.

Burnley have been strong at the back this season. Only 5 Premier League teams have conceded fewer goals than Burnley, and manager Sean Dyche will be pleased with his team’s organization.

Despite enjoying a relatively low scoring campaign so far, the Clarets have scored in all but 1 of their league games this season.

However, they have failed to score in each of their previous 3 visits to the King Power Stadium, and this will surely be in the back of the players’ minds on Saturday.

Interestingly, each of Burnley’s 3 league wins this season have also seen them keep a clean sheet. So, if the away side can take the lead, Leicester could struggle to turn things around.

After having the unwanted record of recording the most shots in the Premier League without scoring this season, James Maddison has now scored in back-to-back games for Leicester.

The attacking midfielder has been in red-hot form this season, and could be the difference when Burnley come to town.

The two teams have both been competing in the Premier League together since 2014/15, and Leicester have enjoyed the better of the head-to-head record in that time.

The Foxes have claimed 4 wins in their least 8 meetings with Burnley, while the Clarets have managed 2 wins and 2 draws.

Leicester are the favorites this time around and they are expected to clinch all three points on Saturday.

Forebet predicts a home win, with both teams finding the back of the net.
