Real Madrid have made a solid start to their campaign in La Liga. Los Blancos are currently top of the Spanish table. On Saturday night, Zinedine Zidane’s team travel to Real Mallorca, which looks to be a comfortable fixture for the leaders.

The reason the game looks like a comfortable game is because Real Mallorca have made a less than impressive start to life back in the Spanish top-flight. The Islanders have taken just seven points from their first eight matches in La Liga this season.

However, things may be looking up for Vicente Moreno’s team, as last time out, they recorded a 2-0 home win over Espanyol. The victory ended a three-game losing run for the home side and may lift the spirits of everybody connected with the club.

In truth, Mallorca have enjoyed a mixed record at the Iberostar Estadi in La Liga this season, having won just two of their five outings. A win over Zidane’s team would be a massive result.

The visitors head to Mallorca having won five of their eight La Liga games and also drawn three. It has been a solid rather than a spectacular start to their campaign and courtesy of their poor Champions League displays this season, Zidane’s future at the club is in doubt.

Last time out, the leaders saw off the challenge of surprise-package Granada, eventually recording a 4-2 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu. The win means Los Blancos have won four of their last five league outings. They will be highly confident of making it five out of six in Mallorca.

Los Blancos have not been great on their travels, winning just two of their last nine away games in La Liga. They are, however, four games unbeaten on the road.

Forebet predicts that the leaders will record a low-scoring victory to maintain their lead at the top of the Spanish top-flight.
