Leicester City host Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

The home side will be looking to bounce back from defeat at Old Trafford last weekend, while Spurs aim to build on a thumping win against Crystal Palace.

Son Heung-min scored twice for Tottenham last time out, while goals from Erik Lamela and Patrick van Aanholt rounded off a 4-0 victory.

All of Spurs’ goals came in the first half of the match against Palace, and they dominated with 65% of the ball possession.

Tottenham currently sit 3rd in the Premier League table, but are already 7 points behind leaders Liverpool.

Spurs have endured a mixed start to the season and boast a record of W2-D2-L1.

On the other hand, Leicester are level on 8 points with Tottenham, but are 5th in the table due to their inferior goal difference.

The Foxes four-game unbeaten run came to end last weekend as they were beaten 1-0 by Manchester United.

Leicester dominated the possession at Old Trafford, and despite registering nine shots, they failed to find the back of the net.

This leaves Leicester with the same record as Spurs this season – W2-D2-L1.

Tottenham beat Leicester home and away in the Premier League last season with an aggregate scoreline of 5-1.

The Foxes have won just two of their last ten matches against Spurs, and last beat Tottenham in 2017.

This is a fixture that almost guarantees goals. The two teams have met each other over 100 times, and only one of those matches has ended goalless.

As for the team news, Tottenham are still without a number of key players heading into Saturday’s clash.

Ryan Sessegnon is yet to make his debut for the club, while loan signing Giovani Lo Celso is not expected to be fit.

There are no fresh injury worries for Leicester, and Brendan Rodgers will be hoping that his players respond well after recently losing their first match of the season.

Jamie Vardy looks to be thriving under Rodgers’ tactics, and the former England striker has scored half of his teams 6 league goals so far this season.

If Leicester are to get anything from their next match, Vardy’s pace and pin-point finishing will be hugely pivotal.

Given that both sides love to play attacking football, a draw with over 3.5 goals is looking likely.
