On Wednesday morning (GMT), Ulsan host Sangju Sangmu, as the home side look to move to the top of the K-League.

Ulsan are right in the thick of the title race in the South Korean top-flight. In fact, a win in this clash would move them two points above current leaders Jeonbuk Motors.

An unbeaten run of 11 games in the league consisting of eight wins and three draws has helped Ulsan maintain their bid for a third K-League title. A good recent run of form on home soil has also been key to their challenge, as Ulsan have won five of their last six league matches on home soil.

Good defensive displays have been the order of the season for Ulsan, as they have kept clean sheets in four of their last six K-League home games.

Another big positive for Ulsan is that they have won four of the last six K-League meetings while suffering just one defeat.

Sangju Sangmu are just a point outside the Championship group after a poor recent run of form in the K-League. A 2-0 win over Daegu last time out ended a four-game winless run for the visitors, having previously suffered three defeats.

The match against Daegu followed a familiar trend in the visitors recent K-League games in that it was low-scoring, with four of their last five matches producing under 2.5 goals.

Sangju Sangmu’s recent away form has been poor, as the visitors have lost four of their last five games on their travels. They have struggled for goals on their travels in the K-League, failing to score in six of their last nine away games.

Forebet predicts that Ulsan will move to the top of the K-League by recording a win in a high-scoring encounter.
