Beijing Renhe to move level with Dalian Yifang in CSL

Two of the strugglers in the Chinese Super League meet on Saturday morning, as Beijing Renhe host Dalian Yifang at Beijing Fengtai Stadium.
The home side are currently in the relegation zone of the Chinese top-flight after two straight league defeats against Jiangsu Suning and Shanghai SIPG. However, the team from the capital are just one point away from safety and a win in this clash should move them out of the drop zone.
Poor defensive displays have become a signature of Beijing’s recent games, as they have now conceded at least two goals in five of their last seven matches. In fact, only Guangzhou R&F have conceded more goals than Beijing this season in the Super League.
Their efforts at the other end of the pitch have not been much better of late either, as they are also the second lowest scorers in the Chinese top-flight, having scored just 13 goals.
One positive for Beijing Renhe of late has been their home form, as they have won three of their last five matches on home soil, having suffered just one defeat.
Their form in front of goal on home soil has also been impressive, as they have scored at least twice in four of their last five matches.
The visitors are currently 11th in the Chinese top-flight table, just three points above the home side. A defeat in this clash would see the visitors dragged towards the relegation zone.
A three-game winless league run consisting of two defeats and one draw has led to Dalian Yifang’s potentially perilous position in the table. Their recent away form does not bode well for a turnaround in fortunes either, as they have won just twice in 11 outings.
