Norwegian Eliteserien teams Bodo/Glimt and Stromsgodset will clash on Sunday as both teams seek a victory. The Norwegian clubs both lost in their previous Eliterserien fixtures and are looking to turn around fortunes.

Bodo/Glimt were defeated at home by Brann, 2-1, last time out which ended a three-match unbeaten run. The club has secured 17 points from a possible 27 and sit third in the league table. Bodo/Glimt have been good in front of goal registering 19 strikes in nine games. They average 2.11 goals per game.

Stromsgodset are 12th after 10 matches in league play. Consistent winning has been difficult to find at Stromsgodset as they have collected just nine points from 30.

The Gulskogen-based club are –3 in goal difference this season as its defence has conceded 15 times. Stromsgodset allow 1.5 scores a match to their opponents and they need a strong defensive showing against Bodo/Glimt to come away with points.

Bodo/Glimt have posted a brilliant 3W-1D-1L record at home this term as the Superlaght have collected 10 of 15 points when playing at the Aspmyra Stadion. Three of Bodo/Glimt’s last five matches have seen over 2.5 goals scored.

Despite losing to Brann in their last home fixture, Bodo/Glimt have been brilliant defensively on their own patch. Bodo/Glimt are +6 in goal difference at the Aspmyra Stadion.

Stromsgodset have posted the second worsts points total in the Eliterserien on the road. Godset have obtained just two points from 15 possible on their travels. After drawing their first two matches of the Eliterserien season, Stromsgodset have lost three straight fixtures away from home.

Just one of Stromsgodset’s five away fixtures have finished in over 2.5 goals scored. Stromsgodset’s defence has been decent conceding just six goals away, but it is their goal scoring that has prevented them from winning. Stromsgodset have scored just two times on the road.

Bodo/Glimt’s forward Amor Layouni has tallied five goals. He has accounted for 26% of Bodo/Glimt’s scoring and has the fifth best total in the Eliterserien.

The two clubs have met four times in 2018-19 in all competitinos. Surprisingly, Stromsgodset posted a 2W-1-D-1L record against Bodo/Glimt. This season Godset are not quite as strong a team, however.

Bodo/Glimt did win earlier this season against Stromsgodset with an impressive 5-0 scoreline.

Sunday’s match between the two teams will see Bodo/Glimt picking a second consecutive win against Stromsgodset. The last four games between the two clubs have finished with over 2.5 goals scored.

They will once again combine for more than 2.5 at the Amypra Stadion as Bodo/Glimt claim victory.
