On Tuesday night, Porto host Belenenses in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, as the home side looks to move further clear at the top of the Portuguese table.

Porto have been in good form of late and that good form has seen them move five points clear of second place Benfica. The leaders have won ten of their last 11 matches in the Portuguese top-flight. Last time out in the league, Porto recorded a 4-1 victory at Chaves.

A key to their recent stellar form has been their attacking threat, as they have scored at least twice in five of their last seven matches in the Primeira Liga.

FC Porto have a formidable home record in the Portuguese top-flight, losing just once in their last 44 matches. They have also recorded victories in 18 of their last nine matches on home soil in the league.

The home side has also been prolific at the Estadio Do Dragao in the Primeira Liga, scoring at least two goals in 15 of their last 18 matches.

Belenenses are currently seventh place in the table and a shock win could see the visitors move up to as high as fifth.

The visitors are three games unbeaten in the league, recording two wins and a draw. Last time out they drew 2-2 at Tondela. Their recent games in the Portuguese top-flight have been relatively high scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in five of their last eight league outings.

Belenenses recent away form in the Primeira Liga has been poor, as they have won just two of their last eight matches on their travels. However, five of those eight matches have finished in draws.

Forebet predicts that Porto will record a victory to extend their lead at the top of the Portuguese top-flight.
