On Sunday afternoon, in-form German champions Bayern Munich host struggling Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, in a game that is vital at both ends of the table.

Bayern München have hit form of late in the German top-flight, having won their last six games in the Bundesliga. Last time out in the league, Die Bayern recorded a 3-1 win at Hoffenheim. The game at Hoffenheim followed a familiar trend for Bayern, as it was the seventh Bundesliga out of eight in which they had scored at least two goals.

Despite their recent good form, the champions are still six points behind arch-rivals Dortmund in the race for the German top-flight title.

The Bavarians are unbeaten in four home games in the Bundesliga, having won their last two league matches at the Allianz Arena. Their recent home games in the German top-flight have also been high scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in ten of their last 13 home games.

VfB Stuttgart are experiencing a difficult campaign in the Bundesliga, as the visitors are currently in the relegation play-off spots.

The visitors have lost four of their last five Bundesliga games, including last time out when they suffered a 3-2 home defeat against Mainz. Stuttgart’s defensive displays of late have been poor, as they have conceded at least two goals in five of their last seven games in the German top-flight.

Stuttgart’s away form has played a big part in the visitor’s lowly position in the table, as they have won just once in nine away games in the league, losing seven times in the process. The visitors have conceded at least two goals in six of their last seven away games in the German top-flight.

Forebet predicts that Bayern Munich will continue their recent winning run by recording a victory in a low scoring encounter.
