Barcelona to win comfortably at Levante

On Thursday night, Levante host Barcelona at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia in the last 16 first leg of the Copa del Rey.
Levante have hit a poor run of form of late in La Liga, having failed to win in their last four matches in La Liga. Their last competitive victory was in a 2-0 win over Lugo in the last round of this competition.
The home side’s games have been high scoring of late, as there have been over 2.5 goals scored in seven of their last eight matches in all competitions.
Levante’s recent record in the Copa del Rey is a patchy one. However, the Valencia-based team have lost just one of their last six matches in the competition.
They have struggled for home wins in this competition in recent seasons, though, winning just twice in seven outings on home soil. Levante’s recent home games have been low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in their last four matches.
Barcelona have been in good form of late, winning seven of their last eight matches in all competitions. The Catalan giants have also managed to score at least two goals in all seven of those victories.
The Spanish champions are the holders of the Copa del Rey and have won seven of their last eight matches in the competition. They have also been pretty prolific in the Copa del Rey of late, scoring at least two goals in three of their last four games in the competition. Ernesto Valverde’s side defeated Cultural Leonesa in the last round to set this tie up.
The visitors actually have an inconsistent recent record in away games in the Copa, winning just one of their last four games on their travels in the Spanish cup.
Forebet predicts that Barcelona will record a victory in a high scoring game to give themselves a big advantage for the second leg.
