Barcelona to seal top spot in Group B

On Wednesday night, Barcelona have the chance to seal top spot in Group B of the Champions League as they travel to PSV Eindhoven.
PSV Eindhoven have endured a difficult Champions League campaign, picking up just one point from their four games so far. Claiming third spot is still a possibility for the Dutch side but looks unlikely at this stage.
The Dutch team have a poor recent Champions League record, winning just two of their last 14 games in Europe’s elite competition. They have also lost three of their four group games this season.
PSV have a poor recent home record in the Champions League, having recorded just one home win in seven outings in the competition. Their recent home games in this competition have been high scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five matches.
The Catalan visitors will win the group with a victory, having won three of their four games in Group B. A 1-1 draw with Internazionale last time out ended a three-game winning run in this competition for Ernesto Valverde’s team.
Barcelona have been prolific of late in the Champions League, scoring over 2.5 goals scored in five of their last seven matches. Meanwhile, six of their last seven European games have produced over 2.5 goals.
Despite making the latter stages of the Champions League in recent seasons, the Blaugrana have won just one of their last six games on their travels in the competition. However, four of their last six away games in the Champions League have finished in draws.
Their recent away games in the Champions League have been low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in five of their last seven games.
