Stuttgart’s problems to deepen against Bayer Leverkusen

Leverkusen’s recent home record in the league has contributed to their inconsistent run of form, as the home side has won just one of their last five Bundesliga games on home soil.
Stuttgart have endured a poor start to their Bundesliga campaign, winning just two of their 11 league games so far this season. However, one of those victories was last time out, when they defeated Nurnberg 2-0.
The victory also ended a four-game losing streak for the away side in the German top-flight. Stuttgart’s main problem of late has been keeping the opposition out, as they have conceded at least three goals in four of their last five league outings.
Stuttgart’s recent away form has not helped their cause in the Bundesliga, as they have won just one of their last six league matches on their travels while suffering four defeats in the process. The one away win was in that aforementioned win over Nurnberg last time out, though.
To add to their woes, the home side has won just one of their last 14 meetings with the visitors. However, that victory was in their last meeting in April.
