On Friday night, Hertha Berlin and German champions Bayern Munich meet at the Olympiastadion in the Bundesliga, as both teams look to bounce back to winnings ways.
Hertha Berlin started the Bundesliga campaign in good fashion by taking three wins and a draw from their opening four league matches. However, a 3-1 defeat against Werder Bremen ended that unbeaten run for the team from the capital.
Hertha had also been prolific in front of goal this season prior to the Bremen defeat, scoring at least two goals in their previous three Bundesliga outings.
The home side’s recent Bundesliga games have offered real value for money when it comes to goals, as there have been over 2.5 goals scored in nine of their last 11 league outings.
Hertha have claimed just three wins from their last ten home games in the German top-flight. With the champions visiting, that record looks unlikely to improve in the near future.
Bayern started their title defence with four straight wins in the German top-flight. However, a 1-1 home draw with Augsburg last time out ended the Bavarians hundred per cent record in the Bundesliga.
The game also ended a prolific run of form from Bayern in the Bundesliga, as the Bavarians had scored at least two goals in their previous 11 league games.
The visitors have been formidable of late on their travels in the Bundesliga, winning 11 of their last 12 away matches. Bayern have also managed to score two or more goals in nine of their last ten away matches in the Bundesliga.
The last three games between these two teams in all competitions have finished in draws. However, Bayern have not suffered defeat against Hertha in the last 14 meetings in all competitions.
Forebet predicts that Bayern will get back to winning ways in the capital, recording a victory in a high scoring encounter.
