New York City to defeat DC United comfortably
On Saturday night, New York City FC host DC United in the Eastern Conference of MLS, as the home side look to move closer to the top two.
New York City are currently third-place in the Eastern Conference, six points behind the automatic play-off spots. The team from the Big Apple have been on a poor recent run of form that has seen them win just one of their last seven MLS outings. The visitor’s recent away record is woeful, as they have failed to win in their last eight games on the road. In fact, United have won just two of their last 27 games on their travels in MLS.
One of DC’s main problems on their travels of late has been conceding goals, as they have conceded at least two goals in five of their last seven away games in the US top-flight. The visitor’s generosity at the back has contributed to both teams scoring in 14 of their last 18 MLS outings.
