Bohemians set to add to Bray’s woes

On Friday night, Bohemians host Bray in the Irish Premier Division, as the home side attempt to push up the table.

Bohemians are eighth place in the table, just four points clear of the relegation play-off spot, but ten points clear of the visitors who are bottom of the table.

The home sides recent form has heavily contributed to their league position, as the Dublin-based team have won just one of their last nine league games. Bohemians have also lost four of their last six league outings, including last time out, when they suffered a 3-0 home defeat by Sligo Rovers.

The team from the Irish capital have a poor home record in the top-flight, having won just one of their last eight games on home soil. Bohemians latest home games have been relatively low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in five of their previous seven games in the league.

Bray Rovers are rock bottom of the Premier League table, six points away from the relegation play-off spot, and ten points behind the home side who occupy the last position of safety.

Despite their recent struggles, the bottom side ended a three-game run without a win with a 2-1 victory over Sligo Rovers last time out.

One of the main themes of the visitor’s recent league outings has been goals, as there have been over 2.5 goals scored in ten of their last 12 games in the Premier Division.

A major contributory factor in Bray’s position is a woeful away record, as Wanderers have failed to win in 15 league games on their travels in the Premier League, suffering 14 defeats in the process.

Goals have been hard to come by too on their travels, as Bray have scored twice in eight away games in the league.

Forebet predicts that the home side will record a victory in a high scoring game to move away from the danger zone.
