RB Leipzig to record potentially crucial win at Hertha

On Saturday afternoon, RB Leipzig travels to Hertha Berlin knowing that nothing but a win will be good enough to seal a Champions League spot on the final day of the German season.
Hertha Berlin have enjoyed an inconsistent Bundesliga campaign and are tenth-place in the German top-flight table, which is as high as the home side can finish this season. Last time out Hertha suffered a 3-1 defeat against Hannover. The game was the fifth consecutive Hertha game to produce over 2.5 goals in the Bundesliga.
The fact that Pal Dardai’s side has scored at least two goals in three of their last four league outings has contributed majorly to those recent high scoring goals.
The home side has been draw specialists of late on home soil, having drawn five of their last seven home games in the German top-flight. Their recent home games in the league have been relatively low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in five of their last seven games.
RB Leipzig ended a four-game winless run with a 4-1 win over Wolfsburg last time out in the German top-flight.
The win kept the visitors in the race for a top-four finish just. However, the three defeats in their four previously Bundesliga outings could turn out to be fatal to the visitors Champions League hopes.
Leipzig will kick off this game sixth in the table, two points behind fourth-place Hoffenheim, who also have a superior goal difference. Unfortunately for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s team so have Bayer Leverkusen in fifth-place. They need results to go for them elsewhere to make the Champions League for next season.
The visitor’s recent away record in the German top-flight is poor, as they have won just two of their last 11 games on their travels in the Bundesliga.
However, Forebet predicts that the visitors will get the win they need in a high scoring clash, but whether it will be enough to seal a top-four spot depends on results elsewhere.
