Manchester City were crowned English champions on Sunday after rivals Manchester United suffered a shock 1-0 home defeat by rock-bottom West Brom.

The Citizens will be looking to celebrate that title win in style on Sunday afternoon when relegation-threatened Swansea City head to the Etihad Stadium.

A 3-1 away win at Tottenham last time out in the Premier League, means that Pep Guardiola’s side has won six of their last seven games in the English top-flight. The victory also saw the Citizens score two or more goals for the fourth straight league game.

The Champions have a highly impressive home record in the top-flight, as a 3-2 defeat against Manchester United last time out at the Etihad Stadium ended a 14-game winning run for the Citizens.

Guardiola’s side has been lethal in front of goal on home soil in the top-flight, scoring two or more goals in 14 of their last 15 games.

Manchester City have won their last three home encounters with Swansea City at the Etihad Stadium. Another home win looks on the cards in this clash.

Swansea City are just four points clear of the relegation zone, but the Swans have a game in-hand on 18th place Southampton.

The Swans have failed to win in their last four Premier League outings. However, three of those winless games have finished all square. Their last four top-flight games have also produced under 2.5 goals.

Carlos Carvalhal’s side has won just one of their last 15 away games in the Premier League. However, they have lost just two of their last seven games on their travels in the top-flight, with four games finishing in draws.

The Swans recent away games have been low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in five of their last six games on the road.

Forebet predicts that the Citizens will record a victory in a high scoring game to dent the visitor’s chances of moving further clear of the relegation zone.
