Scunthorpe to add to Rochdale’s relegation worries
In a crucial game at both ends of the League One table, Scunthorpe United host Rochdale on Saturday afternoon.
Scunthorpe are currently fifth-place in the third tier and occupy a play-off spot. The home side are only two points clear of seventh place Peterborough, so the home side cannot afford any slip-ups.

Dale’s recent form has not been terrible, as the north west side has lost just one of their last five league games. However, a record of just three wins in their last 16 league games illustrates why Keith Hill’s side are in the relegation zone.
The visitors suffered a 2-0 home defeat against Fleetwood Town last time out. The clash was Dale’s fourth straight game that has produced under 2.5 goals.
Hill’s side has won their last two away games in League One, keeping clean sheets in both victories.
The visitors have lost just one of their last six meetings with Scunthorpe, having recorded three wins in the process.
