Charlton and Plymouth set for draw in League One
On Saturday afternoon, Charlton Athletic host Plymouth Argyle at the Valley in League One, in a game that could have big implications in the race for play-offs spots in the third tier.
Charlton are currently ninth-place in the League One table. However, a win would move the Addicks to within two points of the visitors in the last play-off spot. The home side also has a game in hand on all the teams directly above them.
However, a poor recent run of form has led to a four-game run without a win in the league, with the Addicks suffering three defeats in the process. Despite their recent good run of form, the visitors are still just a point clear of seventh-place Peterborough in the fight for the play-off spots.
Argyle has a decent recent away record in League One, as they are unbeaten in eight games on their travels in the league, winning four and drawing four of their games. Their recent away games in the third tier have been relatively low scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in nine of their last 12 games on their travels.
These two teams are pretty evenly matched, so it is no surprise that Forebet predicts this clash will finish all square.
