On Sunday afternoon, Leicester City host reigning Premier League champions Chelsea in the FA Cup sixth round.

Leicester’s recent form has been mixed of late, but Claude Puel’s side are currently on an unbeaten run of four games in all competitions. Last time out the Foxes recorded a 4-1 win at doomed West Brom.

The Foxes have beaten Fleetwood Town, Peterborough and Sheffield United to make it this far in the competition. The side from the Midlands has lost just once in their last eight FA Cup outings.

The home side has won seven of their last nine games on home soil in the FA Cup. Leicester are unbeaten in nine home games in all competitions, while their last six games at the King Power have produced under 2.5 goals.

The Foxes have won just three of their last 17 meetings with Chelsea in all competitions. The side from the Midlands has also won just one of their last 15 meetings with the Blues in all competitions.

Chelsea’s form heading into this clash is poor. Antonio Conte’s side has won just one of their last five games in all competitions, suffering three defeats in the process.

However, the visitor’s recent record in the FA Cup is a good one. The Blues have won six of their last nine games in 90 minutes in the competition. Conte’s side has beaten Norwich, Newcastle and Hull City to make it to the quarter-finals, conceding just one goal in the process.

The Blues have a poor recent away record, having lost their last five games on their travels in all competitions, also winning just one of their last nine on their travels.

Leicester will fancy their chances of progression to the last four of the competition, due to Chelsea’s recent poor form. However, Forebet predicts Chelsea will record a victory in a high scoring encounter.
