Huddersfield to secure vital win against Crystal Palace

Huddersfield and Crystal Palace are two of the teams fighting against relegation in the Premier League. On Saturday afternoon, the pair meets at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Huddersfield’s recent form in the top-flight has really been a mixed bag, as the Terriers have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last four league outings. Last time out David Wagner’s team was held to a goalless draw at the John Smith’s Stadium by fellow strugglers Swansea City.

The draw leaves the Yorkshire outfit four points clear of the 18thplace visitors in the table. A victory in this clash could be pivotal to their season with only eight league games of the campaign remaining.

A lack of goals has hampered Town’s survival bid, as they have failed to score in five of their last seven top-flight games, including their last two.

The Terriers have won just two of their last nine games on home soil in the Premier League. Three of their last four home games have produced over 2.5 goals.

Palace are just one point away from safety. However, a nightmare injury list has led to a poor run of results for the Eagles. In fact, they have lost their last four league games, while also conceding two or more goals in three of those four defeats. Last time out Roy Hodgson’s side suffered a 2-1 defeat at Chelsea.

Palace have won just once in their last six away games in the English top-flight, having also lost three of their last four league games on their travels. The Eagles recent away games in the league have been high scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five games on the road.

Neither of these teams is in great form. However, Palace are on a terrible run and Forebet predicts that the home side will record a victory in a low scoring encounter.
