On Tuesday night, Juventus host Tottenham at the Allianz Stadium in the first leg of the last 16 of the Champions League.
Juventus are in top form, as the Italian champions have won their last 11 games in all competitions. Last time out the Bianconeri recorded a 2-0 win at Fiorentina.
A key to the home side’s recent good form has been their defensive solidity, as the Italian giants have conceded just one goal in their last 16 outings in all competitions.
The Bianconeri are unbeaten in five games in the Champions League, with their recent European games producing relatively low scoring games, as there has been under 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five games in Europe.
The home side are 22 games unbeaten on home soil in the Champions League, having recorded six wins in their last eight home games in Europe’s elite competition.
Max Allegri’s side finished second in their group behind Catalan giants Barcelona, who dominated the group.
Tottenham topped their Champions League group, finishing unbeaten in a group that contained European champions Real Madrid. The north London side heads into this clash in high spirits following a 1-0 win over Arsenal in the north London derby on Saturday.
The win over the Gunners means that Mauricio Pochettino’s team are unbeaten in 12 games in all competitions. The visitors have also kept clean sheets in three of their last four competitive games.
Spurs are unbeaten in seven Champions League games, having recorded six wins in the process. The visitor’s recent games in Europe’s elite competition have been high scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in seven of their last eight games in the Champions League.
Forebet predicts that the home side will record a narrow victory in a high scoring encounter in Turin.
