On Sunday night, La Liga leaders Barcelona travel to in-form Real Betis in the Spanish top-flight, as the Catalan giants look to maintain a healthy lead at the top of the table.

Real Betis heads into this game eighth in La Liga, after three wins from their last four league outings, including a famous 5-3 victory over city rivals Sevilla. In fact, Quique Setien’s team are now just two points behind sixth-place Sevilla in the race for European spots.

Last time out in La Liga, the home side recorded a 3-2 home victory over Leganes. The game saw Betis score two or more goals for the third time in their last four outings in La Liga.

The home side actually have a poor recent home record in La Liga, as the win over Leganes ended a five-game winless run on home soil in the Spanish top-flight for the Seville-based outfit.

Barcelona heads to Seville in good form in La Liga, having won their last five games in the Spanish top-flight, keeping clean sheets in four of their last five outings. The Catalan giants have also been prolific of late in the Spanish top-flight, scoring two or more goals in their last six league outings.

Ernesto Valverde’s side did suffer a 1-0 defeat at Espanyol last time out in the Copa del Rey, though. However, the Barcelona boss made changes to his starting line-up for the game against their city rivals.

The leaders are currently nine points clear at the top of the Spanish top-flight table and unbeaten in their last 26 La Liga outings, winning 23 games in the process.

The visitor’s recent away form in La Liga has been strong, as they have won five of their last six games, while also scoring two or more goals in all five victories.

Forebet predicts that Barcelona will record a comfortable victory in a high scoring encounter in Seville.
