On Saturday, reigning Premier League champions Chelsea host relegation-threatened Stoke City at Stamford Bridge.

The home side now look unlikely to retain their top-flight crown, with Manchester City seemingly running away with the title. However, the Blues will be keen to ensure they seal a place in the Champions League for next season as soon as possible.

They are currently trailing league leaders City by 16 points, but are behind second-place Manchester United by just one point.

Antonio Conte’s side have been in decent form of late, winning three of their last four Premier League games, including recording a comfortable 2-0 win over Brighton last time out.

In fact, the Blues have won nine of their last 12 games in the English top-flight, while suffering just one defeat. Conte’s side also have a very good home record of late in the Premier League, recording six straight wins at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

The Blues have kept four clean sheets in their last five league outings on home soil, conceding just one goal in the process.

Stoke have been dragged into the Premier League relegation dogfight. The Potters are currently 13th in the table, only three points above the dreaded drop zone.

However, Mark Hughes side have picked up four points from their last two games, one of which came from a 1-1 draw at Huddersfield last time out in the top-flight.

The Potters have won just two of their last ten Premier League games, both wins coming on home soil. The visitor’s recent away record in the top-flight is not great, as they have won just one of their last ten away games in the Premier League.

Forebet predicts a comfortable victory for the reigning champions, which will add to Stoke’s relegation worries at the bottom of the Premier League table.
