The midweek Ligue 1 fixtures continue Wednesday night and Troyes have the daunting task of travelling to the capital to take on Paris Saint Germain.

There is no team in Europe who would relish playing Unai Emery’s team now and Troyes know they must be at 100% or face the possibility of a humiliating result.

Paris Saint-Germain come into this match undefeated in all competitions this season. They have played in both Ligue 1 and the Champions League and not one team has managed to defeat them and they hope to keep that run going for as long as possible.

Following their 7-1 destruction of Celtic in the Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain went on to defeat their closest challengers in Ligue 1, Monaco, 2-1 away from home.  It left everyone in little doubt that Paris Saint-Germain are going to win the title this season.

Trends show Paris Saint-Germain are on a run of seventeen games without defeat in Ligue 1 and are unbeaten at half-time in each of those seventeen games.  Furthermore, at home, Paris Saint-Germain are unbeaten in their last twenty-six league games.

Not only have Paris Saint-Germain been difficult to beat at home, they have been winning games by a comfortable margin. The league leaders have won each of their last seven home Ligue 1 games by 2 goals or more and each of the last four by 3 goals or more, which is an impressive record.

Troyes make the trip to Paris on the back of a good 3-0 home victory over Angers at the weekend. That win means it is now two wins from their last three Ligue 1 games, including the 3-0 win over Strasbourg two weeks ago.

However, while Troyes have won three of their last four home Ligue 1 games, they have been struggling on the road.

Having won two of their first three away league games, Troyes have failed to win any of their last three matches.  Following the 2-2 draw in Lille on the 14th October, Troyes have lost at Caen and Dijon.

Trends show Troyes have failed to score only once in six away matches this season but have also kept just a single clean sheet, which is less than ideal when travelling to play Paris Saint-Germain.

Team News and Thiago Motta is the only player on the treatment table for Paris Saint-Germain, leaving Unai Emery with plenty of options.  Yuri Berchiche and Thomas Meunier could start and Javier Pastore may get an outing in midfield.  Kylian Mbappe may drop to the bench following his missed chances against Monaco.

Troyes are without Tristan Dingome, who ruptured ligaments at the weekend and will miss the remainder of the season.  Both Adam Niane and Bryan Pele are hoping to be available having missed the match against Angers.

Troyes will be on a high following their 3-0 win at the weekend but this is going to be extremely tough. Their only hope is if Paris Saint-Germain take their eye off the ball and relax but even then, the home team have enough quality to get the victory.
