Lazio just too hot for Nice

In-form Italian side Lazio host French outfit Nice at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday night in the Europa League. A win for the home side could see them seal qualification for the knockout stages.
Lazio have been in the red-hot form of late and have recorded eight consecutive victories in all competitions, including winning all three of their group games in this competition so far.
Last time out, the men from Rome recorded a 5-1 away win at minnows Benevento, while Simone Inzaghi’s team beat Nice 3-1 in the reverse fixture in their last European game.
Lazio games have produced goals galore in recent months, as the home side have scored at least two goals in 12 of their last 13 games in all competitions.
The Italian side also have a good home record of late, as they have won six of their last eight games on home soil in all competitions. Their record in front of goal is also impressive in home games, as they have scored two or more goals in six of their last eight competitive games at the Stadio Olimpico.
Nice are enduring a torrid campaign in Ligue One this season and are currently just above the relegation zone. The men from the French Riviera have now lost their last five games in all competitions.
However, the visitors are second in the group after winning two of their last three games in the Europa League.
The French side have been inconsistent in this competition of late, as they have won three and lost three of their last six games in the Europa League.
They recorded a 5-1 win at Zulte-Waregem in their last European away game. However, the French side had lost three of their previous four games on their travels in the Europa League prior to the win.
