Real Madrid set to secure big win in north London

Tottenham and Real Madrid go head-to-head at Wembley on Wednesday night in Group H of the Champions League, as both sides look to get the upper hand in the group.
The group is extremely tight, as both sides have collected seven points from their first three games, while both also have a goal difference of five. This clash could be crucial in deciding which team tops the group and supposedly gets an easy draw in the knockout stages.
These two teams drew 1-1 at the Bernabeu in their last Champions League outing. There was very little to separate the pair.
Tottenham heads into this game on the back of consecutive defeats against West Ham in the League Cup and last time out against Manchester United in the Premier League.
However, the north London side are unbeaten in four games in the Champions League, recording three wins in the process. The draw in Madrid last time out ended a three-game winning run in the competition for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
The home side have now recorded successive home wins in Europe’s elite competition, but prior to those wins had failed to win in four home games in the Champions League.
European champions Real Madrid suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at minnows Girona at the weekend. However, Los Blancos have an impressive record in the Champions League.
The men from the Spanish capital have lost just one of their last 20 outings in the competition. In fact, the draw in the reverse fixture ended a three-game winning run in the Champions League for Zinedine Zidane’s men.
The visitors also have an impressive away record in Europe, as they have won four of their last five outings on their travels.
This game could be a very tight one just like the reverse fixture. However, Forebet predicts that it will be the Spanish side that will record a potential important win in north London.
