PSG were the talk of the European transfer market this summer, mainly due to signing Brazilian striker Neymar for a world-record fee from Barcelona.

The club from the French capital seems to be reaping the early rewards of their summer business after winning their first three Ligue One games of the season.

On Friday night, Unai Emery’s side will host Saint Etienne at the Parc des Princes looking to continue that perfect start in the French top-flight. Last time out, Emery’s side hammered Toulouse 6-2 at the Parc Des Princes, with new signing Neymar highly influential.

The Brazilian has scored three goals and produced three assists in just two starts for the home side. The forward has already started to pay back his huge transfer fee.

PSG finished last season in good form and their good start to the Ligue One campaign means that the Parisians have now won 13 of their last 15 games in the French top-flight.

They have also been prolific in record Ligue One games, scoring two or more goals in 11 of their last 13 outings in Ligue One. Unsurprisingly, PSG also have a very strong home record and are unbeaten in 25 home games in the league.

Saint Etienne also have a hundred per cent record in Ligue One this season so far, having beaten Nice, Caen and Amiens without conceding a goal. However, PSG will pose a much bigger threat than their previous opponents have this season.

The visitors have a mixed recent record on their travels in Ligue One, having won three and lost three of their previous six away games in the French top-flight. The Parc des Princes is not exactly a stadium that is good for improving away records, though.

Forebet predicts that PSG’s winning run will continue in Ligue One and the visitors hundred per cent record will end in the capital.
