Real Madrid have a simple job to do on Sunday in La Liga, that is take something from their trip to Malaga. A win or a draw will give Los Blancos their first La Liga title since 2012.

Zinedine Zidane’s side moved into pole position to win the title with a 4-1 win at Celta Vigo last time out. The win moved the men from the Spanish capital three points above bitter rivals Barcelona in the title race.

In truth, Zidane’s team have been in top form of late. Since their Clasico defeat against Barcelona, the visitors have won all five of their La Liga matches, scoring 20 goals in the process.

Their away form has been even hotter in the Spanish top-flight, as Zidane’s team have won all of their last nine games on their travels in La Liga. Those victories were of a high-scoring nature and Real scored at least three goals in eight of those nine wins.

Real also have a good record against Malaga, having won six of the last eight meetings between the two sides.

Malaga currently sit 11th in La Liga and are undefeated in their last five games in the Spanish top-flight. In fact, the team from Andalusia were on a run of four straight wins in La Liga until last time out when they drew 2-2 with Real Sociedad.

Malaga’s boss is former Real Madrid great Michel, who has steadied the ship at the Andalusian club in recent months. The home side have been in good form of late at La Rosaleda, having won their last four La Liga games on home soil, while scored at least twice in all four victories.

This game is a massive one for the visitors and Forebet predicts that Los Blancos will clinch the title in style with a win in Andalusia.
