Manchester City can all-but secure Champions League football for next season when they face West Brom at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night. The Citizens are three points ahead of fifth-place Arsenal, who face relegated Sunderland at the Emirate Stadium.

Wins over West Brom and against Watford on the final day of the season would secure a top-four spot for Pep Guardiola’s side. Maximum points in this clash would also see the Citizens move up to third place in the table above Liverpool.

City have been in decent form of late, unbeaten in their last six league games, recording four wins in the process. Guardiola’s side are unbeaten in 11 league games at the Etihad Stadium and champions Chelsea are the only team to have won at City in the league this season.

The home side have been relatively prolific on home soil in the top-flight, failing to score in just two of their 18 home league games so far this season.

The Citizens have also won 12 of their last 13 games against West Brom in all competitions and will be confident of adding another victory in this clash.

West Brom have been in eighth place in the Premier League for a good while, but their form has taken a turn for the worse in the last few months. Tony Pulis’ side have now lost five of their last six games in the league and failed to win in seven league outings.

To make matters worse, the Baggies have scored in just one of their last seven Premier League games. On their travels, their recent record is also poor, as the visitors have won just one of their last 11 games on their travels.

Forebet predicts that Manchester City will pick up a vital win in this clash and the Baggies poor form in the top-flight will continue.
