Chelsea were crowned English champions last Friday night, as the Blues won 1-0 at West Brom courtesy of a goal from Michy Batshuayi. Antonio Conte’s side’s campaign is not quite finished just yet, though, and they face Watford at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

With the title already sewn up and an FA Cup final to come in just under two weeks’ time, Blues boss Conte is likely to rotate his squad for this clash. The likes of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa may well be rested for the clash.

However, Chelsea have a strong squad and the Blues will be looking to continue their strong run of form whatever team their boss selects for this clash. Batshuayi may be rewarded for his winning goal on Friday night by a start in this one.

The Blues will head into this game in good spirits following that win at West Brom and have won 13 of their last 14 home games in the league. The home side have also won six of their last seven games in the Premier League.

Conte’s side have rediscovered their defensive solidity from earlier in the season, having kept clean sheets in their last three league outings, while also scoring seven times.

Watford arrive in south west London in terrible form. The Hornets have lost their last four Premier League games without scoring a goal. Their away record in the top-flight is even worse, as Walter Mazzarri’s team have lost their last six games on their travels in the league without scoring.

The Hornets look to have accrued enough points to stay clear of the drop with just two games remaining, but everybody connected with the club will be looking for an improvement on their recent displays in this encounter.

Forebet predicts that Chelsea will record a victory in this clash and add to the Hornets recent misery in the Premier League.
