Everton play their final home game of the Premier League campaign on Friday night as they welcome Watford to Goodison Park.

The Merseysiders have already confirmed a spot in next seasons Europa League qualifiers by finishing seventh in the Premier League. The Toffees will be hoping to sign off their home campaign with a win over the Hornets.

Ronald Koeman’s side have lost just twice in the Premier League this season on home soil against Liverpool and Chelsea. In fact, the Toffees have won eight of their last nine home games in the English top-flight and scored two or more goals in all eight of those victories.

However, the Toffees have failed to win any of their last three outings in the English top-flight, suffering two defeats in the process. The Merseysiders have also failed to score in all three of their last three Premier League outings.

Watford arrive on Merseyside in 15th place in the Premier League table. However, a win could move the Hornets up to tenth in the table. The visitors have suffered defeat in four of their last five games in the Premier League, scoring just once in the process.

An away win could prove to be a big achievement considering Walter Mazzarri’s side have lost their last five games on their travels in the top-flight. The Hornets have also failed to score in any of those away defeats, while failing to keep a clean sheet on their travels in the top-flight in their last 12 outings.

The visitors have won just one of their last nine meetings with Everton, suffering six defeats in the process. However, that one win came in the reverse fixture at Vicarage Road earlier this season.

Everton have underperformed in recent games, but will want to win their last home game of the season and Forebet predicts they win record a comfortable victory in this one
