Tigers to roar against the Hornets

Hull City have given themselves a fighting chance of surviving in the Premier League this season. The Tigers have a chance to enhance their survival hopes on Saturday as they host Watford at the KCOM Stadium.

The side from Humberside have a very strong recent home record in the Premier League, having won five of their last six games at the KCOM in the top-flight. In fact, the Tigers have suffered just one defeat in their last ten home outings in the Premier League.

Despite that good recent home record, the home side have suffered consecutive defeats in the top-flight against Manchester City and Stoke City, conceding six goals in the process.

Marco Silva’s side are just two points clear of the relegation zone, so this is a massive game for the Tigers. A win would heavily boost the Tigers chances of surviving this season.

The Tigers recent Premier League games have been high entertaining affairs, with over 2.5 goals scored in their last seven league games. However, a big part of that record is the fact that Silva’s team have conceded two or more goals in four of their last five top-flight games.

Watford arrive in Humberside in decent form, having won three of their last four games in the top-flight. The Hornets also kept clean sheets in all three of those victories. The visitors recent decent run of form has moved them onto the magic 40 points mark and into the top half of the Premier League table.

Unlike the home side, Watford’s recent games have been low-scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five league games, again largely due to their good recent defensive record.

Hull are a formidable opponent on home soil and Forebet predicts that Marco Silva’s side will record a vital win in this clash.
