De Kraker takes centre stage in the Dutch Eredivisie this weekend, as big-three rivals Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven lock horns at De Kuip on Sunday.

Having won each of their 13 league games this season, PSV find themselves seven points clear of second-placed Feyenoord in the table.

That said, Feyenoord have suffered a solitary Eredivisie defeat this term, so they will be hopeful of halting their rivals’ hot streak in front of their fans.

Feyenoord head into Sunday’s clash on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, despite edging the possession stats on home soil.

Tuesday’s loss means that Feyenoord will drop into the Europa League, having recorded two wins and three defeats in the UCL this season.

In the Eredivisie, Arne Slot’s side have won each of their last three matches, with 10 victories coming in their previous 11 encounters.

Having taken 16 points from a possible 18 at De Kuip this term, Feyenoord will back themselves to end PSV’s 100% record this weekend.

As for PSV, they came from 2-0 down to beat Sevilla 3-2 in the Champions League on Wednesday, with Ricardo Pepi netting a 92nd-minute winner in Spain.

That result also saw Peter Bosz’s men book their place in the knockout phase, as they have lost just one of their five UCL games this season.

Remarkably, PSV have won all 13 of their Eredivisie matches in 2023-24, scoring 48 goals while conceding on just five occasions, with nine clean sheets coming in that time.

Thanks to a strong end of the previous campaign, PSV also enter Sunday’s showdown on a 29-game unbeaten streak in the league.

Head-to-head: Across all competitions, Feyenoord have failed to win any of their last four meetings with PSV, recording two draws and two defeats.

In the Eredivisie, however, Feyenoord have lost just one of their previous 10 matches against PSV, picking up four wins and five draws in the process.

Team news: Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez has scored 16 goals in 13 league games this term, while Quinten Timber has bagged four goals and six assists.

Meanwhile, PSV’s Luuk de Jong has notched 10 goals and six assists, with Johan Bakayoko and Joey Veerman each racking up three goals and seven assists.

Given the level that these two sides have set this season, Sunday’s clash is destined to be an entertaining battle between two in-form teams.

Forebet predicts that PSV will maintain their 100% record with a high-scoring victory over Feyenoord, who are expected to push the leaders all the way before falling short.
