In-form Lazio head into Monday night’s home game against Torino in good form. The Biancocelesti currently sit fourth in Serie A, which would be enough to give them a place in next season's Europa League. However, Simone Inzaghi’s side still have hopes of securing a Champions League spot.

The men from Rome are currently four points behind third-place Napoli, but that gap could further with Napoli hosting struggling Crotone on Sunday afternoon. That means that Lazio cannot afford to slip-up against midtable Torino if they are to have any hope of claiming a top-three spot this season.

However, Lazio’s recent history suggests that they will not slip-up, as the home side have won four of their last five outings in the Italian top-flight. Lazio’s home form in Serie A has been decent of late, with seven wins from their last ten games at the Stadio Olimpico.

The home side’s recent Serie A games at the Olimpico have been low-scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five outings. A big factor in those low-scoring games of late has been Inzaghi’s side keeping clean sheets in their last three home games.

The home side have a good recent record against Torino, having gone seven games unbeaten against the men from Turin in all competitions.

Torino are currently tenth in Serie A and have been on an inconsistent run of form of late. The visitors have won just once in their last nine outings in Serie A, although five of their games during that run have finished in all draws.

Sinisa Mihajlovic’s team have been poor on their travels of late in Serie A, failing to win any of their last seven away games and winning just once in their last ten league games on the road.

Forebet predicts that Lazio will continue their good form and stay in contention for one of those Champions League spots.
