Italian champions Juventus host AC Milan at the Juventus Stadium on Friday night, as the home side look to extend their lead at the top of Serie A.

Juventus are the juggernaut of Italian football, as they are just so difficult to stop. The Bianconeri are currently top of the table and could stretch their lead over second-place Roma to ten points with a victory in this clash.

The Bianconeri have been in good form of late. However, a draw against Udinese last time out brought to an end a ten-game winning run in all competitions. The draw in Udine was a rare slip-up from Max Allegri’s team and they will be confident of getting straight back to winning ways against the visitors from Milan.

The home side will also be confident of extending their 30-game home winning run in Serie A. The last team to avoid defeat in Turin in Serie A were minnows Frosinone way back in September 2015. During that incredible run, the Italian champions have also kept 20 clean sheets.

Milan are attempting to recapture the glory days and are currently seventh in Serie A. Their bright start did stall slightly, but the Rossoneri have got back to form of late, winning four of their last five games in the Italian top-flight.

Their recent decent form has given Vincenzo Montella’s side a chance of claiming a European place this season. The visitors are just two points behind fifth-place Atalanta and the Europa League spots. Finishing in the Europa League spots may not be a return their glory days, but at least it would be a start for the men from Milan.

Their away form in the Italian top-flight has been mixed of late and there is very little to suggest that Montella’s side will be the team to end Juventus long winning run on home soil.
