Chelsea Desperate for a Win Over Bournemouth Away From Home
Bournemouth vs Chelsea - 17/09/2023

Bournemouth and Chelsea will clash at the Vitality Stadium this weekend with the Cherries aiming to grab their first win of the season just as Mauricio Pochettino looks for a swift return to the win column after another loss.
It’s now two defeats already for Pochettino at Chelsea after a stunning defeat to Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge just before the international break.
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager saw just three shots on target that day, but the Blues really should have got something from the game after Nicolas Jackson missed an open goal.
Chelsea also made hard work of their EFL Cup win over Wimbledon where they fell behind to the League One side in the first half before Noni Madueke scored a penalty.
Enzo Fernandez would bag the winner in the second half with his side controlling 84% of ball possession in that game alongside nine shots on target.
After drawing with Liverpool on the opening weekend Chelsea would go on to lose to West Ham United 3-1 away from home with Carney Chukwuemeka scoring an equaliser at the time for the Blues. Axel Diasi also bagged in the game against Liverpool.
This does mean the terrible form shown last season has all but continued for the Blues this season with their only win being over Luton Town.
Raheem Sterling managed to put on a clinic that day with two goals, as Jackson got off the mark with his first goal in the Premier League.
Just like everyone else in the bottom four, Bournemouth are yet to win a game in the Premier League.
The club's only win this season has been over Swansea, as David Brooks got his first goal of the campaign alongside finishes from Hamed Traore and Ryan Christie.
Bournemouth have managed to lose to Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, although they did take the lead against the Reds at Anfield with a finish from Antoine Semenyo.
Other results this season have seen the Cherries pick up a point against West Ham United on the opening weekend where Dominic Solanke scored in the second half, as he bagged again last time out in a draw away to Brentford that also saw Brooks score again.
Forebet predicts a return to the win column for Pochettino's Chelsea, as Bournemouth sit with only one win in all competitions this season, and even then, the club made hard work of their result over Swansea. Forebet also predicts the game to see over 2.5 goals.
