Red Devils to continue good run of form against the Cherries

Manchester United have found form in recent weeks and will be looking to continue that good form on Saturday lunchtime as they host Bournemouth at Old Trafford.

The home side won 3-2 against Southampton in the EFL Cup last weekend and a win in this clash could see them move up from sixth place in the table to fourth, at least temporarily anyway.

Jose Mourinho’s team have found consistency in the Premier League of late, as the Red Devils are now unbeaten in their last 16 league games. In fact, United have recorded wins in their last six games in all competitions.

The Red Devils home record in the Premier League is very strong, as United have suffered just one defeat in 22 home games in the English top-flight. Mourinho’s side won the reverse fixture 3-1 at Dean Court and they will be confident of doing the double over the Cherries.

Bournemouth’s form has taken a nosedive in recent months. The Cherries are now 14th place in the Premier League and just four points clear of the relegation zone.

Eddie Howe’s side have won just one of their last ten games in the English top-flight. Their recent results have been woeful, as the team from the south coast have suffered four straight defeats in the Premier League.

Their away record is even worse than their overall record, as the Cherries have lost six of their last seven away games in the English top-flight, conceding 20 goals in the process. Only Swansea in the Premier League have conceded more goals than the Cherries tally of 50 this season.

Their record does bode well heading into this difficult clash in the north west. Forebet predicts that United will pick up maximum points and move into the top four temporarily anyway.
