It’s the final gameweek of the season in Turkey as Istanbul Başakşehir play hosts to Trabzonspor at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium with the home side having one eye on the Turkish Cup final this weekend.
It's been a tough season for Başakşehir who after winning the Super Lig title three years ago, are now set to finish outside of the top three for the third season in a row.
Ahead of the final game of the season, the club are sitting in fifth and cannot move any higher with a gap of seven points on fourth-placed Adana Demirspor.
Worse yet, with Trabzonspor right behind them in the table, they could end up finishing their season in sixth place.
At the same time, manager, Emre Belözoğlu, will no doubt have his mind on the French Cup final in this clash too, so there could be some changes to the side with the likes of Adnan Januzaj, Danijel Aleksić and Serdar Gürler potentially missing out.
The men from Istanbul, however, are on a healthy run of form right now and have only lost to the champions Galatasaray in the last month. Basaksehir have since gone on to draw with Umraniye, Antalyaspor and Ankaragucu before wins against Gaziantep and Demirspor in the league.
Basaksehir are also heading into this game with the third-best defensive record in the Super Lig, as their 36 goals let in from 35 games is only bettered by Besiktas and Galatasaray, while this is six fewer goals than their Turkish Cup final opponents, Fenerbahce.
As for Trabzonspor, they are two adrift of Basaksehir and cannot drop any lower in the table with the club sitting even clear of Konyaspor in seventh place.
Marek Hamšík may also get some more game time with the former Napoli star announcing his retirement last week and will now play out his final match in professional football.
They also head into this game in excellent form after losing to Fenerbahce a few weeks back. Trabzonspor have managed to defeat Faith Karagumruk 4-1, Giresunspor 4-2 and Alanyaspor 5-1.
It is their best stint of form this season after putting up a weak defence of the Super Lig title they won last year.
These two last met back in January in a game that saw Stefano Okaka sent off in the 96th minute. Anastasios Bakasetas scored the game's only goal that day.
Forebet predicts a win for Trabzonspor and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
