It’s the final game of the Serie A season for Torino and Inter Milan with the two clubs set to clash in Turin as all attention for Simeone Inzaghi’s men turns to the Champions League final next weekend.
Although there is still a lot to play for with Inter on the final day of the season in Serie A, they will no doubt rest players for this game and ensure their key men are ready to play in the final against Manchester City next Saturday.
Inter head into this game with a top four spot also already secured, so there is even more of a reason for Inzaghi to rest a few players.
The gap on Atalanta in fifth is now eight points and they are also ahead of AC Milan in fourth by two points with a much better goals difference - this now means just a point could be enough to secure a spot in third.
Lazio are sitting two points ahead and both sides sit on +28 goals difference, meaning a win for Inter and a loss for Lazio against Empoli would be enough to see them finish second to the champions Napoli on the final day.
Inter have been in relatively positive form in the past month and have just one loss since the start of May.
In fact, they are the most in-form side in Italy right now with the club managing to beat Lazio, Roma and Juventus in Serie A - all these sides sit in the top seven right now. As well as this, the club have defeated rivals Milan 3-0 on aggregate in the Champions League.
They did lose to Napoli two weeks back, but by also beating another top five team in Atalanta last weekend, they head into this game and the Champions League final in great form.
At the same time, the San Siro outfit beat Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia final 11 days ago after a double from Lautaro Martinez.
As for Torino, they are merely aiming to finish as the best of the rest outside of the European spots, as they sit eighth in the table and behind Juventus in seventh by six points.
The Turin outfit are also level on points with Fiorentina just below them in the table and a loss for Torino in this game and wins for those below them could see the club drop down into as low as 11th in the table in the final game.
Forebet predicts a win for Inter and under 2.5 goals.
