Ibiza Expected to Hold Zaragoza to a Draw
Real Zaragoza vs Ibiza-Eivissa - 03/12/2022
2349
Ibiza will be aiming to get off the foot of the table when they meet with Real Zaragoza away from home this weekend in the Segunda Division with the 22nd-placed side winning just three games all season long.
It's been one of the worst seasons in recent memory for Ibiza and for all their attempts to finish inside the top half in recent campaigns, it's looking like a season of fighting relegation and struggling to stay in Spain's second tier with them winning the fewest games in the league so far.
Their terrible winning run is also coupled with the worst losing streak in the division as well, as they managed to lose four in a row at one stage and have now lost 11 fixtures across the 17 in the Segunda Division so far.
What's more, they are also sitting with just 11 goals scored across these 17 matches, and it does mean only Racing in 17th have scored fewer goals than them. What's more, Ibiza have let in 25 goals and no side in the league has conceded more.
Ultimately, it’s already been a season to forget and a win here may not even lift them off the foot of the table, because if Malaga win their game or rack up at least a draw, it will mean Ibiza remain in last place.
Worse yet for the club, you have to go to the second day of October to see their last win in the league, as they narrowly beat Lugo 3-2.
The club have since gone on to draw only two games, losing seven times as well to create a dreadful winless run of nine games in the Segunda Division - no side in Spain's second tier is in worse form.
There has been one bright light in the midst of this winless run in the league, however, as Ibiza managed to beat Cristo Atletico in the Copa del Rey 2-0, which now means they are into the second round in the cup at the very least.
With both sides relatively close in the table, it's become a tough game to predict. Only six points and five places in the table are keeping them apart right now and it is tough to see how Ibiza can get win number four of the season.
Forebet predicts a draw here and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
