Magallanes and Cobreloa Set for a Tense Encounter in teh 2nd Leg of the Copa Chile QFs
5382

It's the second leg of the Copa Chile this Thursday evening when Cobreloa play hosts to Club Deportivo Magallanes after a lacklustre first leg leaves this game with all to play for and no goals so far registered.

There was nothing to shout about from either side in the first leg of this quarter-finals in the Copa Chile. Magallanes were the better side, however, with 10 shots towards goal and six shots on target while also seeing an impressive 63% of the ball.

Cobreloa, on the other hand, struggled to get into the game throughout the match and were left with one shot on target and not real chances to break down the stubborn home team's defence.

Worse yet for Cobreloa, Axl Franchesco Rios Urrejola was sent off in the 94th minute of the game and will now be unavailable to play here and now leaving a huge problem for the club to deal with in midfield.

In the Primera B de Chile, however, these two sit right by one another in the second tier of Chile. Cobreloa are top of the table right now with 60 points from 28 games, but with a game in hand for Magallanes to work with, they could end up beating them in the Copa Chile and move ahead of them in the table as well.

Cobreloa are, however, still on a fantastic run of form despite the idea they could lose everything they've worked for in this season very fast.

In fact, it's now 12 games unbeaten for the league leaders in Chile's second tier, with the last time they tasted defeat coming all the way back in the middle of July, as Copiapo beat them 2-0.

They have, however, won only eight of those games and also saw a stunning four red cards in the 12 unbeaten games as well.

Now, after another red card in this first leg and with under 2.5 goals coming in from 10 of those 12 games, there is a bit of concern running through the club right now and if they will be able to get over the line or not.

Forebet predicts a close game here after a lacklsutre goalless draw last week. Forebert does predict a draw in 90 minutes, however, with the game set to see under 2.5 goals once more.

The game will then progress to extra time and potentially penalties in this Copa Chile quartet-finals second leg.
