Fiorentina Expected to Secure Europa Conference League Qualifcation Against Twente

The second leg of the Europa Conference League playoffs is upon us as the De Grolsch Veste plays hosts to FC Twente and Fiorentina this Thursday evening with both sides coming into this one off the back of great starts to the new league campaigns.
Fiorentina are currently sitting seventh in Serie A after two games, which has seen them draw one and win the other. Up first for them was the visit of new side Cremonese, where Fiorentina would have to seriously grind for all three points.
Giacomo Bonaventura opened the scoring with a smart goal, before an equaliser brought the game level.
Luka Jovic got his first goal of the season with an effort just 20 minutes later, but another goal from the away side brought the game level. Rolando Mandragora would eventually seal the win with a goal in the 95th minute in stunning style.
Empoli were up next for Fiorentina in their first away trip of the season, and with the game ending 0-0, there was not much to shout about for the Florence outfit.
Still, they managed to have 19 shots in the game and see 64% of the ball, although only two of those efforts ended up on target.
Twente are also two games down in the Eredivisie, but with them winning both games so far, they do head into this one in better form on the domestic front. In fact, the club have not conceded a single goal so far in the league.
Twente kicked things off with the trip to NEC on the opening weekend of domestic action, where Sem Steijin would score in the 91st minute to seal all three points for the away side.
Twente's winning form continued with a fantastic performance on home soil against Fortuna Sittard, as Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Joshua Brenet and Virgil Misidjan all scored a goal each. Twente had 19 shots that day with eight of them hitting the target.
In the first leg of this tie, Fiorentina would run out 2-1 winners. Nicolas Gonzalez and Arthur Cabral scored in the first half for the Serie A side, before Vaclav Cemy brought one back for the Eredivisie outfit.
