Dortmund has already booked their place in the Champions League for next season. Another win would confirm their position as runners-up in the Bundesliga.
The defeat at the Allianz Arena continued a recent inconsistent run of league form for BVB, as Marco Rose’s team has won just two of their last five matches in the Bundesliga.
However, Dortmund has picked up wins in five of their last seven home matches in the Bundesliga. Their recent home games have certainly provided goals galore, as five of their last six league matches have produced over 4.5 goals.

The visitors have all but secured their Bundesliga status for next season. The visitors cannot suffer automatic relegation. They are also eight points clear of the relegation play-off spot. With just three games remaining, it seems unlikely that Thomas Reis’ team will be dragged into 16th place.
It is fortunate that they have virtually sealed their top-flight status, as their recent league form has been poor. The visitors head into this clash on the back of one win in their last six games in the Bundesliga, having suffered four defeats in the process.
Bochum’s recent away form hasn’t been great either, as the visitors have now won just one of their last seven Bundesliga games on their travels.
