Blackburn’s Promotion Quest to Take Another Positive Turn With a Win Over Luton
Luton Town vs Blackburn Rovers - 29/01/2022

Blackburn Rovers will look to continue their quest for automatic promotion in the Championship as the Lancashire outfit travel to Kenilworth Road to face off with Luton Town who are fighting to stay in the top 10 ahead of February.
As of now, Luton are battling on in what has been a solid season once again in the Championship as the Bedfordshire outfit are aiming for their best-ever finish in the division, as they currently sit two places above their 12th position of last campaign.
Luton have seen their excellent form shown in December and January disappear a little bit as they lost to Sheffield United 2-0 last weekend, but reclaimed their winning form by beating Bristol City 2-1 in midweek.
Prior to the past week, Luton stunningly managed to take four points off the top two clubs in the league as they defeated Bournemouth 3-2 and drew 1-1 with Fulham, while also easing out of their third round FA Cup clash with Harrogate Town with a 4-0 win. In December, they also won 3-0 against Blackpool to end what was a six-game losing streak.
Blackburn also returned to winning ways last time out as Sam Gallagher's last goal managed to snatch all three points off Middlesbrough after the club lost to Hull City in what was one of the worst results of the campaign for the Blue and Whites.
It's also been five games in the league now since Ben Brereton Diaz managed to add onto his 20 goals in 27 appearances, but this is the longest he's gone without a goal and one is expected soon.
Rovers are sitting in second as a result of the Chile international's input, who has scored almost 50% of the club's goals for the season. At the same time, with three points separating them and Bournemouth in third, many are predicting a top flight return for the club.
Right now, not much seems to be stopping Blackburn and their pursuit for a Premier League return after nine seasons outside of the top flight. At the same time, as long as Ben Brereton is on the pitch, Tony Mowbray’s men have the chance to win a game.
With this said, we expect the away side to get all three points here and for the game to see over 2.5 goals as Blackburn edge closer to Fulham and stay within their desired automatic promotion places.
