On Saturday afternoon, two of the Bundesliga’s best attacking teams Hoffenheim and Dortmund meet at the PreZero Arena, in what promises to be an exciting encounter.
Hoffenheim have moved into the Bundesliga’s top-four in recent months after a string of excellent results. Sebastian Hoeness’ team currently sit fourth-place in the table but experienced a 2-1 defeat at fellow surprise package Union Berlin last time out in the Bundesliga.
The win moved the team from the German capital level on points with the home side, so they need to bounce back to winning ways, but considering their opponents that could be a difficult task.
The loss at Union ended a run of seven league matches without defeat for Hoffenheim. A key to their good run before the loss was their attacking prowess, as Die Kraichgauer has scored two or more goals in seven of their last ten matches in the German top-flight.
They are also undefeated in seven league outings at the PreZero Arena, claiming an impressive six wins.

The defeat rather sums up BVB’s frustrating inconsistency in recent years.
The two straight victories in the German top-flight have at least kept Dortmund second-place in the Bundesliga table and six points behind arch-nemesis Bayern Munich. A 5-1 home hammering of Freiburg last time out in the league was certainly an impressive result.
One thing that has not been so impressive of late has been BVB’s away record, as they have been highly inconsistent on their travels in the Bundesliga. A record of two wins from their last five away matches in the German top-flight could be a contributing factor in why they are still trailing Bayern Munich by six points in the table.
This game is a big one for both teams. Forebet predicts that the clash will produce a high-scoring draw, which will do neither team’s ambitions in the Bundesliga much good.
