Although Lens dropped down to 5th place in the Ligue 1 standings following a second draw on the trot as they shared the spoils with Clermont in a 2-2 stalemate last weekend, the hosts may well fancy their chances of getting something out of this upcoming encounter against PSG as well.

Since their resounding 4-0 home win against Troyes, Lens have failed to win any of their subsequent three league matches in the French top flight after being on the end of a heavy 4-0 defeat themselves away at Brest before picking up points in draws with Angers and Clermont.

Wins have been hard to come by in recent times for Lens as the hosts have managed to collect just two victories out of their last seven games overall but the encouraging aspect is that both of these were achieved on home soil at their Stade Bollaert-Delelis.

Indeed, Lens have lost just once at home to date this season while also winning three of their last four matches which includes an additional 2-0 win against Reims and they’ve lost just one of their last nine home games.

Onto PSG and the league leaders were also held to a draw on Wednesday night by Nice in a 0-0 stalemate at the Parc des Princes but nevertheless, PSG hold a commanding 12-point lead over 2nd placed Marseille and are unbeaten in their last seven matches overall.

PSG’s only slip-up so far in this season’s Ligue 1 campaign came in the form of a 2-0 loss away from home at 3rd placed Rennes but otherwise the Paris-based club have been in impressive form this term, winning 13 of their 16 matches played to date.

The bigger picture also shows that PSG have lost just the once in their last 16 matches on their travels whilst also picking up 13 wins in the process so they look in good shape to collect all three points at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Saturday evening as well.

However, PSG do occasionally slip up on the road in the French top flight and indeed their last visit to Lens ended in a 1-0 win for the hosts back in September of last season but they look a more determined outfit this term having lost out on the title last season.

Forebet predicts that PSG will grab the three points and will score over 2.5 goals in the process.
