Bologna will welcome Roma to the Renato Dall'Ara Stadium this Wednesday night as the club look to break further into the top 10 following a decent run of form that has seen them make it into ninth while Rome aim for the top four once again.

It’s been a topsy-turvy campaign for Bologna so far who have now entered the top 10 following a victory over Spezia where Marko Arnautovic scored the game's only goal from the penalty spot.

This now means the ex-West Ham United man has scored six goals in Serie A for his new club and is one of the highest scorers in the division and the highest-scoring forward outside of the top eight sides.

While this victory managed to rocket Bologna into the top half of the league, it does still leave them with plenty of work to do as it is expected that clubs also on the same level of points as them - Juventus and Lazio - will eventually find some form that will catapult them further away.

Ahead of hosting Roma on Wednesday, the club have now conceded 24 goals from only 14 games, which is more than alarming for a side wanting to break and stay inside the top eight.

In fact, this is 10 goals more conceded than Torino who are in 13th, while it's only two more than Genoa who sit inside the relegation zone and from all teams below Bologna, only six of the four teams have conceded more meaning there is a lot of work to do on the defensive front.

As for Roma, their form is about as topsy-turvy as it gets and right now, they are being saved from dropping even lower in the league simply due to the torrid form of fellow gargantuan clubs like Juventus and their arch rivals, Lazio.

Jose Mourinho’s side are currently sat in fifth and have been in this position for the best part of three weeks, with the odd fluctuation to fourth and the other way to sixth.

All in all, without goals from the likes of Tammy Abraham, Felix Afena-Gyan, Lorenzo Pellegrini, and Stephan El Shaarawy, Roma would be really struggling.

Abraham is currently leading the way as their top scorer with eight goals in all competitions, while Afen-Gyan scored both goals in the victory over Genoa to push them into fifth.

As a result, Roma have now moved on swiftly from their 3-2 loss to Venezia and AC Milan and Forebet expects them to win here in a game that will see over 2.5 goals.
