Bayern Munchen to Make Easy Work of Hoffenheim Once Again

Bayern Munich will welcome 1899 Hoffenheim to the Allianz Arena this weekend as the Bundesliga champions look to bridge a gap between them and Borussia Dortmund, while the away side look to break inside the top six for the first time this campaign.

Hoffenheim have been chipping away ever so gradually on the top half of the division and following on from their 5-0 thrashing over Koln, they have managed to get into the top 10 and level on points with RB Leipzig.

However, despite a turnaround in form and hope this could rocket them up the league, meeting with Bayern may just end all positivity right now.

The club are in great goalscoring form, regardless, as after failing to score in back-to-back games in September, they’ve come back with nine in three and even beat the impressive Wolfsburg 3-1.

Hoffenheim have now scored 17 goals from their opening eight games, which only the top three in the division can match.

Elsewhere, they have let in 11 goals and as they proved against the topsy-turvy Stuttgart, they can leak goals when their guard is down as they lost 3-1 just a few games ago to them.

Nevertheless, what is more impressive for Sebastian Hoeneß to get his teeth stuck into is how many different goalscorers are popping up with the goods for his side.

In fact, in the 5-0 win over Koln, Christoph Baumgartner scored again, as Ihlas Bebou bagged a brace, while Dennis Geiger and Stefan Posch also netted in that game.

As for Bayern, their relentless nature in the Bundesliga has continued, and it’s also spilled over into the Champions League following their win over Benfica which now means the club have scored a sensational 12 goals in only three games, while not conceding a single goal.

It has just amplified their superiority and why many are backing them to once again win the European crown, especially as Robert Lewandowski continues his form once more - the Pole already has 16 goals in 12 games off the back of scoring 48 in 40 last season.

Back in Germany, however, Bayern are just two points clear at the top, but their 29 goals scored from eight games keeps them under little threat right now and ahead of Dortmund at the top.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side have also let in just eight goals from eight games, and only Freiburg can surpass this right now with six.

Ultimately, this should be another pretty easy game for the home side and we’re backing them to win here with a game that sees over 2.5 goals.
