South America’s biggest sides go head-to-head in Sao Paulo on Sunday as Brazil host Argentina for a vital 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Less than two months ago, Argentina got the better of Brazil – beating their bitter rivals 1-0 in the 2021 Copa America final.
The Brazilians will be desperate to gain revenge this time around, enhancing their impressive WCQ record in the process.
Brazil have won all seven of their qualifiers so far, scoring a whopping 17 goals while conceded just twice along the way.

After seeing off Brazil in the Copa America final, Argentina head into Sunday’s clash on 15-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.
Head-to-head: The recent head-to-head record between these two sides is very even, with both teams winning three of their previous six meetings.
Although Argentina have won each of the last two meetings, Brazil only lost one of the six matches before that.
