Fantasy Premier League – FPL Gameweek 27 Picks
6985

After the excitement of a colossal Double Gameweek, we have a slightly less crowded fixture list in the Premier League for Gameweek 27.

However, there are still a couple of teams with two games in the upcoming round, with Manchester City and Southampton both playing twice.

• Burnley vs. Arsenal

• Sheff Utd vs. Southampton

• Aston Villa vs. Wolves

• Brighton vs. Leicester

• West Brom vs. Newcastle

• Liverpool vs. Fulham

• Man City vs. Man Utd

• Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace

• Chelsea vs. Everton

• West Ham vs. Leeds

• Man City vs. Southampton

Don’t forget – the Gameweek 27 deadline closes at 11:00 (GMT) on Saturday, March 6, so make sure you’ve finalised your transfers before then.

Here are the top FLP picks for Gameweek 27.

Goalkeepers

With a Double Gameweek for Man City, it's pretty obvious who the top goalkeeper pick is this week. Ederson has kept multiple clean sheets already this term, and he could easily keep two more against misfiring Man Utd and off-form Southampton.

Elsewhere, Bernd Leno (Arsenal) comes up against low-scoring Burnley on Saturday, Southampton face Sheff Utd – the league’s lowest scorers – while Karl Darlow (Newcastle) and Alisson (Liverpool) also have favourable fixtures in Gameweek 27.

Defenders

Again, Man City players are worth targeting in the defensive department this week, with Ruben Dias, John Stones and Joao Cancelo likely to get the most game time against Sheff Utd and Saints.

Crystal Palace veteran Gary Cahill was the highest-scoring defender in the previous round, accumulating 16 points. Harry Maguire (Man Utd), Kyle Bartley (West Brom) and Geroge Baldock (Sheff Utd) also scored big in Gameweek 26.

Midfielders

With Southampton playing twice in Gameweek 27, James Ward-Prowse and Stuart Armstrong look set to pick up plenty of points in the coming days. The same can be said for Man City midfielders Ilkay Gundogan, Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden.

Gareth Bale (Tottenham) appears to be back to his best, having bagged two goals and two assists in his last two appearances. Anwar El Ghazi (Aston Villa) seems to be back among the points again, as do Nicolas Pepe (Arsenal) and Ruben Neves (Wolves).

Forwards

Gabriel Jesus (Man City) bagged a brace against Wolves last time out, while Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester) has scored two goals in his last four appearances.

Southampton duo Danny Ings and Che Adams will be hoping to add to their impressive tallies against Sheff Utd and Man City in Gameweek 27, Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) has a favorable fixture against Fulham to look forward to.
